I want to see where this goes now. The pieces have been put together and the first two were action packed. This was no different however... It was different. It was strained? Let's get to my improvements.The first 30% of the book is far too long. I skipped parts. I skipped parts that were already covered. Tad isn't super weak and lame anymore... That was book one. The first 30% is basically Tad inside Tad's mind contemplating Tad. It's wholly unnecessary and could've been used to develop more plot.Also the reason I really enjoy this series is the crunchiness. Now that crunchiness is kinda gone. It twisted to like a weird xianxia combination. Stick to crunchiness my dude!The first 30% is very forgettable. Up to the 50% mark is recovery from the last book, which I despised with Kong's latest and with this I found tiresome as well. The latter 50% is absolutely, positively, the utter carnage and awesomeness I expected. I just wish I had more of it up to that point. Tad needs to not be in his head so much in the coming books. It really, and I mean REALLY, drags down the speed of the story.It's a fast paced, crunchy ride. Lean into that my man! Don't fight back against this whirlwind monstrous story you've created.Keep it up and I'll keep reading them! “This was a fun book. I am glad that I read it.
